About: Up to 160 new dwellings on land north of Burnham Road, Latchingdon
A long-standing battle for the residents of Latchingdon but one that will still affect us in Southminster, the Catesby developers had their application refused by MDC in May which was refused unanimously by 24 Malden councilors, the parish council and local counsilors, not to mention 96% of the village in a survey.
Unfortunately the developers weren't going to let go easily and have since put in an appeal for this decision to be overturned.
There will be a public meeting on Thursday 16th November 2023 at Latchingdon Village hall at 7.45 pm organised by Residents Of Latchingdon Against New Development
